Who it's for

Blacksky for media, archives and cultural work

The problem

Archives, catalogs, podcasts, publications and collections hold decades of material that almost nobody can get through. The knowledge is there, but it is passive: you have to already know what you are looking for.

What Blacksky does about it

Blacksky's core offer is turning a large body of material into something people can talk to. An agent reads the collection, answers questions from it, shows where each answer came from, and never puts words in the mouths of the people in it. On the web, visitors can open the sources behind an answer and explore the collection from there. On the phone, they can call it.

Behind the agent, Blacksky builds the pipeline: getting material in, cleaning and enriching it, structuring it, and indexing it by meaning so the right passage turns up even when the question uses different words.

How Blacksky handles voices and likeness

A real person's voice or likeness is only ever used with that person's direct sign-off and a contract. An agent built on someone's material answers from what they actually said and does not invent their opinions.

A sensible first step

A demo agent on a slice of the collection: one season, one decade, one series. It shows what people ask, what the collection answers, and what it does not.

Common questions

Who owns the material and the agent? The client. The configuration, the material and the data are exportable.

Can it quote the source directly? It answers from the source and can show which document or episode an answer came from.
